Sandhya is back!

Sandhya of `Kathal' fame is back with her next film "Dishyum", releasing tomorrow. She considers herself lucky to have a dream debut in "Kathal" and now a powerful role in "Dishyum". She plays Cynthia, a bold girl with a mind of her own. She falls in love with an uneducated stuntman. Says Sandhya: "Unlike clichéd love stories, Cynthia sees the practical side of the relationship and how it will work before confessing her love to the hero."

Admitting that her second release took more than a year since her debut, she says: "I didn't mind waiting for the right role, as I felt my character should have something to do in the story. "Dishyum", directed by Sasi sir with Jeeva as hero, has shaped out well." Meanwhile, Sandhya is playing Simbu's friend in "Vallavan" and has a role where there is a lot of scope for performance in Cheran's "Pokisham".
