Gardinia 2006 saw the participation of over 3,200 students

Garden City College recently concluded its five-day students' fest, Gardenia 2006. The event saw participation by over 3,200 students from over 80 colleges from across the country.

With 25 departments — including science, arts, commerce, management, IT, nursing and physiotherapy — involved, the festival was the preferred destination for the city's college students.

The final day saw a smorgasbord of events such as thematic fashion shows, dances and band competitions.

The closing ceremony also continued in the same grand vein, with badminton icon Prakash Padukone and actor Daisy Bopanna turning up.
