Art from Bengal

The Karnataka Chitrakala Parishath is conducting an exhibition of three artists from Bengal: Shyamal Ganguly, Sanjib Das and Indira Halder.

The exhibition is on from February 4 to 10, between 10 a.m. and 7 p.m. daily.

The paintings of Shyamal Ganguly in mixed media depict the contrast between materialism and the soul-searching of humanity, while Sanjib Das's acrylic works represent the endless struggle of the masses. Indira Halder's works show a world where reality and fantasy meet.

For details, call Chitrakala Parishath on 22861816.
