Apna Utsav

A cultural show `Apna Utsav' was organised by Visteel Mahila Samithi at Ukkunagaram recently. Various festivals of India like Ganesh Chaturdhi, Navarathri, Onam, Baisakhi, Sankranthi, Christmas, Id-Ul-Fitr and Deepavali were depicted in dance form by the artistes. The grand finale was the `Vande Maataram' with lamps on stage, which brought out the spirit of `unity in diversity'.

Samithi president Chinnamma Sagar Rao and secretary Anandhi Shankar attended.

A hilarious game show `Kaun banega shorpati' on the lines of KBC caught the attention of the audience.

Over 100 women and children of Ukkunagaram took part in the mega event. The `Panel of judges for the Prime Minister's Trophy 2004-05', in whose honour the programme was organised, were all praise for the wonderful show.
