Jan Fiesta

The Anns of Rotary Club of Coimbatore Satellite recently organised a tambola evening — Jan Fiesta, at the Ladies Club. The proceeds of the evening went to the Child Care Centre at Kavundampalayam. The evening was one of masti for the children too. Game stalls like `wheel of fortune', `lucky seven', `smashing the pyramid' and `walk the bricks' were in place and children went home with quite a few goodies. The food courts served snacks from vadas and dosas to pav bhaji and pizza. Lifestyle shops also displayed a range of home products. Games like `Who has it wins' and tambola turned out to be crowd pullers. Over 150 gifts were given away during the course of the evening.
