MY KIND OF PLACE
AMERICA
On an artistic trip
My dance has taken me across the world, particularly to the U.S. often. Over the years, I have performed there several times. The opportunity to share my passion for the art with people there may be one of the reasons why I enjoy going to the U.S. It offers the twin advantage of recitals and relaxation.
My second home
That's Houston. It's full of my dear friends, who just love to have me over. They pamper me by cooking the best of vegetarian dishes, be it Mexican or Thai, soups or eggless cakes. They know my taste so well that I am literally on a good-food trip. These thoroughly enjoyable reunion sessions with old friends are surely the bait to make an annual trip to the U.S. I also love to do some window-shopping, go on long drives and walks. San Jose is another favourite. A lot of my husband's relatives are settled there. They play the perfect host by driving me around the place and serving an authentic Punjabi feast.
It's Singapore for Suchindra
Because it's closer home and quite like India. The most striking aspect is its cleanliness, which is a feel good factor. I also shop a lot and eat out and the ideal place is Suntec City. A popular mall, it has everything you can ask for under its roof.
A lovely blend
Be it things or culture, the East co-exists beautifully with the West in Singapore. This makes it easy for you to fit into its lifestyle.
