The recent Euphoria concert saw a small crowd that enjoyed itself thoroughly

Busy brains need a break, says Lee Fu Nyap of Ascendas, a property management services provider. So Ascendas got Dr. Palash Sen's Euphoria to entertain professionals at the International Tech Park Chennai (a joint venture by Ascendas and Tamil Nadu Industrial Development Corporation) on Taramani Road.
Euphoria began with "Dil Tho Jeethange." That is what Palash Sen tried to do as the three-hour concert rolled on through jokes, some of which came unstuck (such as the one in which he seemed to say the National Institute of Fashion Technology admitted only girls). But there weren't many hearts to be conquered - the long corridor meant to be filled by the audience was almost empty except close to the stage. Although organised for the ITPC staff, it was an open concert, entry to which cost a measly fee. The opportunity was lapped up by employees of a few organisations in the vicinity. As Palash restricted himself to popular tunes, some his own and some borrowed Oh Suniyore, Dil Chahta Hai, Ab Na Ja and Bon Jovi's It's My Life the crowd sang along.
To keep a three-hour concert going, you have to resort to rendering versions of the same song. Palash did just that sometimes dedicating one version to aangal (men) and another to pengal (women). He was perhaps disappointed with the turnout, because he said a few times how wonderful his last concert in Chennai (at the Indian Institute of Technology) was and affectionately called IITians his brothers.
The concert is one of the programmes frequently organised for the ITPC employees.
