Celebrity game show

Model-turned-TV star Rakshanda Khan will anchor a new celebrity game show "Jodee Kamaal Ke" on STAR Plus, to be premiered on March 4, 9 p.m. slot.

Her show is replacing Big B's "KBC-2", which has been shelved temporarily. "Jodee Kamaal Ke" is designed and produced by Dheeraj Kumar's Creative Eye and aims to test the strength of relationships. Rakshanda became popular in Hindi after she played a vamp who turns into a sweetheart in "Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi".

Rakshanda, who is excited about her first game show, says, "The show will probe into the compatibility level of celebrity couples by giving them a platform to these celebrity pairs to come forward and participate as a team, re-live their moments of truth, joy, despair, agreement and disagreement." Some of the couples who will be featured are Mahesh Bhatt-Soni Razdan, Bhakthair Irani-Tanaz Currim, and from the South, Krishnamachari Srikkanth-Vidya. Says Rakshanda: "The celebrities can be best friends, mother-daughter, husband-wife or even guru-sishya."

Rakshanda will be seen only in saris to give the show an Indian feel. The set has been designed by Hemant Trivedi and Sheetal Design Studio.
