CRAIG'S CALL

Ladies, it's your turn, now

It's time women in a relationship got romantic — and why not?

EXPRESS YOUR FEELINGS It's the season for love

Women! The reason a man would change anything for, given the right motivation or sometimes none at all. Women have that special aura about them that would make any man go weak in the knees, and a man would do almost anything to make sure that his lady knows how much he loves her. Sure there are a lot of bad apples in the Adam cart, but most men I know would go out of their way just for that simple sentence from a woman — "Oh, you're so sweet!"

Ladies, it's a war. The single men are battling, and sparing no effort to get themselves into a relationship. And the best part of all this is that the women know they have the power to get virtually anything out of the guy who is pursuing them. So to them, all the best! And this article isn't for you. To the single men, remember that romance and charm get you anywhere and it's spring, so going ballistic is the name of the game. But this article isn't for you either.

Equality in relationships

Then what is it about? Change. The turn of the tide. If women speak of equality in everything, then here's equality. Wooing has largely been a man's territory. Women know that men have to work, and work hard if they want to even think of going anywhere with a woman and sustaining the new found relationship. They have to be mature, charming and witty and at the same time pamper her like there's no tomorrow. Fine! That's all well and good, but this year we're going to change that. And I know there are tonnes of ladies out there who are as romantic as their partners or maybe even more. But to the ones who know that they'll be wooed, I say start the romance. It's time women in a relationship got romantic. And why not? It is a romantic month. The season is in. So why wait? And, in case you want to make this change and don't know how, here's what you do!

Find out what your partner likes the most — like something that he mentions and then forgets about during the course of a conversation. A place he'd like to go to or a dinner date with a difference or may be even a fantasy that he likes. It could be anything, use your imagination, but it has to be done just once a month. That way he'd still woo you but he now knows that his lady cares enough to show him that all that he's doing is appreciated. And to all who agree, go for it. And here's wishing you the best in unleashing that romantic beast.
