Meet the maestro

Lights On, a forum of Sathyam Cinemas, will feature K. Viswanath on February 20 (7.15 p.m.) at Studio-5, Sathyam Cinemas. The programme to be facilitated by Suhasini Maniratnam will focus on the legendary filmmaker's contribution to the Indian film industry.

Known for his series of classically oriented films such as Saagara Sangamam, Swarna Kamalam, Swathi Kiranam and Sankarabharanam, K. Viswanath won the National Award for two films (Sankarabharanam and Saptapadi). He is a Padma Shri recipient.
