Trophies and trifles

Making trophies in metal, glass, acrylic and wood is her speciality. Meet S. Javanthi who customises trophies in all sizes and shapes at her unit ViP (A-7, Anand's, new no. 60, Dr. Ranga Road, Chennai-4). With a diploma in printing, advertising and marketing, she worked in a commercial press before joining one of the leading ad agencies. Through her work she tries to help impoverished artisans in Baroda, Mumbai, Kolkata, Ferozepur, Pondicherry and Mysore by paying them a good rate for their creations. Her client list includes top corporates.

Apart from designing trophies, ViP specialises in graphic design, printing on any surface, photography, display boards, banners, table top flag stands, bags, files, folders in leather, nylon and jute, signage in acrylic, metal and vinyl.
