Home sweet home

For me the best place to unwind is my house in Shivaji Park, Mumbai. But of course there are some lovely places in India and abroad where I go when I feel like taking a break from the routine.

Call of the heart

There's something really romantic about Paris. Since the first time I went in the late 1980s till today, whenever I land there I feel love is in the air — my girlfriend stays there. Now you know why I think it's the `city of love'!

Evenings in Paris

Though I have been there quite often, I don't go to see the same places again and again. I am the kind who likes to explore and enjoy every aspect of my favourite holiday destination. Of course, there are a few restaurants that I never miss going to. Being in the glamour field, I always shop for my clothes abroad. So when in Paris, I do pick up some haute stuff.

Favourites in India

There are so many wonderful places in our country too. Ladakh, Goa and Kerala top my list. Last year, I was in Ladakh for three months. I think that was the most exciting period of my life. This spiritual abode of the Buddhists truly changes you from the inside. As for Goa, almost every Mumbaikar loves this land of sunny beaches because it's the best place to head to when you want to get away from the heat and dust of a metro. And as for Kerala, it's God's Own Country, doesn't that say it all?
