NEEDLESS EXTRAS

A plum offer in MetroPlus (February 9, 2006) was well received. But fruits often contain some unwanted elements like worms, other than the bad effects of some artificial manures and preservatives. So also was the write-up. In the first sentence, there was an unwanted `s' as in "you wants".

Again in the second para, there was an extra `e' in the word "these", preceding the word "fruits". These two unnecessary letters give a sour taste to read, but not this letter, I hope.
