Wow home!

These days, none of the exotic places on this earth can match the cosy comfort of my home in Mumbai. After shuttling between sets and running from one location to another, I think there can be no better place than home for a vacation. Lazing around in my room, sleeping well, eating out of mom's hand, chatting with family and friends... I long to go back to this normal routine.

Always a home-bird

Since childhood I've never liked travelling. When people at home would plan a trip, I would request them to count me out. But I do remember going with my parents on Sundays to the lovely beaches in Ratnagiri, near Pune, where I grew up. Particularly Mandavi with its unique black sand and the popular tourist spot, Ganpatiphule, where there are Ganeshas inside caves. Pubs, parties and discotheques never attracted me. My only outing was shopping. And imagine I have got into a profession that requires me to be on the move always. So now I take time off to fly back to Mumbai and stay put within the four walls of my home.

Amsterdam, love at first sight

My first shooting schedule abroad was in Amsterdam for the song "Kumari... " from "Anniyan". Who cannot fall in love with Amsterdam? Those unending stretches of colourful tulip fields... Imagine a city covered with just flowers, flowers and flowers. I even got a replica of this beautiful flower to remind me of the happy days spent there.
