Airtel and SS Music are launching an Airtel `Singing Sensation' contest

Airtel Broadband and Telephone Services and SS Music are launching the Airtel `Singing Sensation' contest, which will identify the best talent in South India. The contest is on till March 26.

Singers can record their voices in Hindi, English, Tamil, Kannada, Malayalam or any of the local languages. Contestants have to dial a premium number 1280 from an Airtel fixed-line telephone or Airtel STD booth and say `Singing Sensation.' After entering the menu, users need to say `start' and record their personal details. Once the details have been submitted, the system will ask them to sing any two songs. The voice clips will be evaluated at the end of every week and the top five voices of the week will be short-listed. A weekly winner will be announced from these. The judges will identify one Airtel `Singing Sensation' from the five weekly winners. All the winners will get a chance to perform on SS TV. For more information log on to www.airtel.in
