Freedom Jam is a space for musicians and other creative artistes to reach their audience. It is the continuation of an old musical tradition in Bangalore, like in the early '80s at the Music Strip in Cubbon Park, when musicians used to get together and perform free on Sunday evenings. The Levi's Sunday Jams are on the first Sunday of every month. Entry for audience is free. The artists perform for free. Anything from metal to ragas, folk to film songs, poetry readings and art exhibitions can be expected. On March 5, the Sunday Jam will start 5 p.m. onwards at the Princess Academy, Bangalore Palace Grounds. For more, log on to www.freedomjam.net
