Evening of masti

Virtusa celebrated five years in city with riffs and turntable

Last weekend saw techies rocking to some good riffs at the Mountain heights in Shilparamam Arts and Crafts Village. Popular act from Goa, Tidal Wave, lined up a medley of western music and Bollywood beat. The occasion was a gig organised by Virtusa, the US headquartered software major, on completion of five years in Hyderabad.

The evening of fun and masti had pros and their families gathered to join in the celebrations. Earlier in the day, employees who completed five years with Virtusa were honoured. This was followed by popular dance numbers from Bollywood movies performed by Virtusans and humorous skits and dances by children. Kris Canekratane, CEO, Virtusa and his wife Tushara Cankeratne flew down from the US for the event.

After riffs a DJ night followed for Virtusans to hit the dance floor before returning to the desk for more challenges ahead.
