Jewellery show

Poompuhar, the sales outlet of the Tamil Nadu Handicrafts Development Corporation, has an ongoing exhibition-cum-sale of jewellery. The sale, on till March 10, offers jewellery from all parts of the country.

"The aim of this exhibition is to give craftsmen an opportunity to study the market demand for their products," says R. Karunakaran, Manager, Poompuhar, Bangalore.

The show offers jewellery in semi-precious stones, natural pearls from Hyderabad, corals, silver and jewellery dipped in gold.
