Now, "Kofee with Suchi"

Suchitra Ramadurai, popular RJ of Radio Mirchi, will host "Koffee With Suchi", a celebrity chat show on Vijay TV. The show is said to be inspired by Karan Johar's "Koffee With Karan." However, Suchitra promises that her show will not be just another chat show. "Koffee with Suchi" will will be racy and entertaining, just like my `Mirchi' shows," says Suchi. But will the show work in conservative Chennai where there are no Page-3 type celebs and movie stars who do not entertain personal questions?

According to Suchitra, "In fact, the non-existence of the Page-3 concept here is a good thing. In Chennai, people get recognised and are given celebrity status for their achievements and not because they are wives of film stars or children of business tycoons. So each celebrity featured on my show will be an achiever." The show will go on air by the end of this month.
