CREATIVITY Ravindra seen with one of his art works
`Hallucinations', a three-day exhibition of photographs and paintings by A. Ravindra, a final year student of Bachelor of Fine Arts, organised at the Department of Fine Arts, Andhra University, concluded on Friday.
Puppies fast asleep, huddled in an inactive fireplace, titled `Don't disturb', expressions of a little girl title `mohrum' and a youth reading a book while sitting beside a lifelike statue of a woman who is also reading a book, a little boy plucking papaya fruit, partially shielded by a bamboo screen, and a girl wearing a midi skirt looking at the waves, photographed from behind are among the highlights in the photo section. The paintings of a young woman in different poses, a baby enclosed in a small box as though he is in his mother's womb, a `pottery girl' were among the masterpieces on display. The photographs are pretty good considering the fact that Ravindra is an amateur. However, most of the captions are not up to the mark.
