Idea Cellular Limited has introduced VAS service that allows customers to activate songs, personalise music and even sounds in the background during the entire conversation.
These background tones also allow customers to select different background music to suit the mood of the conversation without interrupting it. It also offers personalised features that enable customers to select different music according to different caller groups.
The customer will have to pay a monthly charge of Rs.15 for the background tone with an addition of Rs.10 for a download and Rs.3 for a one-minute call, irrespective of whichever bracket of charges per call the customers had earlier subscribed to. The Rs. 3 will be charged only when the subscriber is using this background tone. By dialling 246 on the idea mobile, the customers can opt for this service.
