A harmonic drive

To make driving a pleasure-filled experience, Alpine has launched a new mobile media station. The device allows you to play DVD, CD, MP3, WMA, FM and even iPod with the help of 7" pulse-touch onscreen.

The pulse touch display allows the user to use the tip of their fingers to select the playing mode of the system.

The system has a feature called i-personalise . Here one can use one's computer and Internet connection to optimise the performance of the head unit to match the specific interior characteristics of the car by tuning time correction, parametric equalisation and crossover networks

It is also equipped with features like anti-theft technology and mediaxpander that restores the harmonic content and sonic details lost in the transmission process. The station is priced at Rs.98,990.
