The duo is back

The Jayaram-Urvashi pair was one of the most successful in Malayalam cinema of the 1990s. Now the lucky pair is back after 10 years in "Madhuchandralekha," their 25th film together. Everybody in the trade is hoping that this family entertainer, directed by Rajasenan, will be the first summer hit of 2006. Says Urvashi: "My pairing with Jayaram has resulted in some rollicking comedies in the past. I had received hundreds of fan mail asking me to do a film with him." "Madhuchandralekha" is an out and out entertainer with plenty of situational comedy that is sure to bring a smile to the faces of the Malayalee audience. The film has Mamta Mohandas in a pivotal role and the music is by M. Jayachandran.
