Racy entertainer

Ajit's films always take a bumper opening but later slowly fade. He has had his share of hits but never a blockbuster. Now, his teaming up with Perarasu, the formula king, in AVM's "Tirupathi" is creating a buzz. Incidentally, "Tirupathi" is the only confirmed Tamil New Year release. And the audio of the film also took a good opening and Ajit's fans have lapped up the five songs. Director Perarasu, who writes the lyrics of the songs in his films, says: "My films cater to the common man and hence the lyrics are simple." "Tirupathi" is a racy entertainer with sentiment, action, comedy, dappankuthu songs and glamour in the form of heroine Sada.
