Courses on music

This summer introduce your children to the art of music. Also, those who wish to become professional musicians can get advance training.

The Unwind School of Music, started in 1998, has introduced two new courses — Junior Unwind and Pro Series. Junior Unwind is for children in the age group of 7-14 and offers classes in guitar, keyboard, drums, recorder and the Q-Chord. It is based on a 10-month curriculum with five modules of eight classes in two months. At the end of each module there will be an assessment and an opportunity to perform before kith and kin.

The Pro-Series will help those who know to play various instruments to fine-tine their technical skills. Pro-Series Guitar classes will train you to become a professional guitarist while Pro-Series Drums will focus on the finer aspects such as speed, precision, dynamics and over-all coordination around the drum kit irrespective of the style of music. The special element of this course is Polyrhythms, which is advanced drumming.
