Cakes without eggs!

Flu or no flu, Avian or otherwise, egg-less cakes are just the right thing for lots of people who are not fond of the oval stuff. And with Navratra just round the corner, anything egg-less is most welcome - even for those who normally would like to gobble up a few of these religiously, first thing each morning! Now, to mark the beginning of Navratra, Bread & More of the Kwality group is planning to come out with a Yolkless Festival.

A whole lot of delightful yolkless treats will be lined for the festival. Besides, there will be an array of fast food spreads ranging from salads, sandwiches, pizzas, and sizzling kathi rolls to steamy hot dogs that Bread & More hopes will set everyone on an eating binge.

Says J.P. Bhatt, the chef, for making cakes, instead of using eggs he uses condensed milk and liquid glucose to get the right proportion. Some of the mouth-watering cakes that will be available during the festival include the yummy black forest cake and the mixed fruit gazer and many more. According to Vikas Arora, General Manager of the Kwality group, this is for the first time that "we are going for an egg-less cake festival. There has been repeated demand from people for such kinds of cakes and with Navratra just round the corner, we have planned this". The festival continues till the end of April.
