To mark its 35th anniversary, the United Writers' Association invites application for the conferment of UWA Outstanding Intellectuals of the 21st Century award for the year 2006 from eminent journalists, outstanding academicians, renowned authors, artists, scientists, cultural ambassadors, entrepreneurs, defence personnel, media experts, professionals, religious and community leaders.
The award is restricted to 150 outstanding individuals who will receive a silver plaque. The rules governing the award can be had from the UWA National Award Committee, United Writers' Association, 35/36, Krishnamachari Nagar.
