Finding Nimmo

Meet Sanjeeda, who plays Nimmo in Ekta Kapoor's latest serial

SMALL SCREEN DEBUT Sanjeeda

She is not new to `lights... camera... action.' And yet, this is her debut role. Not on the big screen though, for she has already done three South Indian movies. Featuring in the lead role in Balaji Telefilms' brand new daily on Star One, Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka, Sanjeeda is enthusiastic about her small screen career.

"I have reason to be happy. I am opening my account in Hindi serials with the best banner possible. The entire team is so professional. And to top it all, the serial is being aired on a Star channel. Like most wannabes, she too wanted a break in Bollywood but didn't get worthwhile offers. So the obvious choice was the small screen. Describing her role in Kya Hoga Nimmo Ka, Sanjeeda says, "Nimmo is a simple, happy girl. You can call her the girl next-door." As far as acting is concerned, she says she has "learnt quite a few things" thanks to Kya Hoga...
