Complex theme

After Sahara One, UTV and Reliance, now the Times Group is making its foray into film production. Saif Ali Khan's latest film "Being Cyrus", which won rave reviews after making the rounds of several international festivals, was released on Friday. The film from first-time director Homi Adjania has a complex theme and is about a Parsi family. The story revolves around a retired sculptor Dinshaw (Naseeruddin Shah) and his joint family (Dimple Kapadia, Boman Irani, Simone Singh and Honey Chhaya). Saif plays Cyrus, a bizarre personality, who comes to stay with the family and romance blossoms between him and Dinshaw's wife, played by Dimple. It is a thought-provoking film with music by Salim and Sulaiman.
