The new "souten"

Has Bollywood finally come of age as far as skin flicks are concerned? Recently, there has been a spate of films with adult themes whose selling points are steamy scenes and glamour.

However, some of these films bombed but still producers feel they are a safe bet. The latest is "Souten _ The Other Woman", a Karan Razdan film, which had run into problems with the censors.

Remember that more than two decades ago Saawan Kumar Tak made "Souten" with Rajesh Khanna, Tina Munim and Padmini Kolhapure, which was a huge hit.

Now, his nephew Navin Kumar Tak is producing the new "Souten", and the common thread between the two films is Padmini Kolhapure, who played `the other woman' in the original.

"Souten" has "Gemini" girl Kiran, Mahima Choudary, Vikram Singh and Gulshan Grover. The music is by Anand-Milind.
