Game shows: the next big thing on TV?

Next big thing?

Whether game shows would be a rage on Indian television is a question mark. What show becomes popular is largely dependent on the collective psyche of the community. If we take into consideration the Western world, game shows are real craze because of the westerners' craving for adventure, excitement, and something unique all the time. Also, we need to remember the individualistic appeal of these shows — you participate, take your own decision and you win. I personally feel that soaps will continue to reign supreme in India. Game shows will take time to become the next big thing.
