For all you people who just can't avoid that cell-phone or the stereo controls while driving, Ford has a solution. Ford Britain has decided to launch a limited number of the Fiesta Freedom for people who don't like to take their hands off the wheel while driving back and forth from work. Yes, you can make mobile phone calls, use satellite navigation, and control stereo settings while keeping your eyes on the road. The Fiesta Freedom will be available with a 1.25 or 1.4 litre engine, three or five door model and will offer an array of technology to people that has never before been offered in a small Ford car. Besides a Nokia N70 G3 mobile phone for people who sign up for a special deal with Vodaphone, Bluetooth to handle phone calls, voice control for radio channel and CD track selection, a Tom Tom Mobile 5 satellite navigation system will also be available. All this sounds good, but there's one problem... er, it's only meant for Britain, folks!

Saab 9-3 Convertible show car, the world's first fossil-free hybrid vehicle is also the world's first hybrid soft-top. The Saab's modular hybrid system features a maintenance-free, 300-volt battery that will last a lifetime and an all-aluminium 2.0 litre engine that is modified to run on pure E100 bio-ethanol fuel.

The latter delivers zero fossil CO2 exhaust emissions and achieves zero to 100 kph in just 6.9 seconds. The Saab BioPower Hybrid Concept is the first project to be announced under a joint-investment programme between General Motors R&D (Research and Development) and the Swedish Government. By introducing cars like this, they aim at enhancing performance of transportation while conserving energy at the same time.
