Beating the heat

Former Miss Universe Sushmita Sen, now a leading Bollywood actress, has been roped in by S. Kumars to endorse their new brand Carmichael House. It is a home textile brand and its products include home linen, bath linen, table linen, curtains and upholstery. Sen is currently busy shooting for the advertising campaign, which includes both print and television.

The campaign is likely to be launched later this month. S. Kumars specialises in consumer textiles, premium suitings, home textiles and ready-to-wear outfits. The brand will be available at lifestyle stores as well as exclusive showrooms of the brand. Expert designers have incorporated international style to suit Indian tastes.

Customers will now be able to coordinate a theme for their home by purchasing all home linen from a single source.

Carmichael House will be launched on a national basis and will be available in all leading home-textiles outlets in 85 cities across India. It also hopes to open 30 exclusive showrooms soon.
