Is she the next Mrs Globe?

Shilpa Reddy, who won the Gladrags Mrs. India 2005 title, is all set to go international

Marriage was never a stumbling block in my scheme of things and nor will motherhood be

She did not let the `Mrs.' tag come in the way of winning beauty pageants. After being crowned Gladrags Mrs. India, 2005, 24-year-old Shilpa Reddy is now preparing to participate in the Mrs. Globe title to be held in Los Angeles in July.

"Marriage was never a stumbling block in my scheme of things; nor will motherhood be."

Though marriage is an added responsibility, Shilpa says it has made her complete. "I am more grounded," she adds.

Coming from a traditional family, entering the world of glamour, was not exactly a cakewalk.

"There was disapproval from my parents. But I have got tremendous support from my in-laws."

Shilpa is married to actor Kirti Reddy's brother, Preetam Reddy.

Being a Kingfisher calendar girl has been Shilpa's most recent modelling assignment.

Fitness, she believes, has given her clarity of thought.

With this, she sets her eyes on the Mrs. Globe title.
