If you are looking for that straight-line fit, easy to maintain trendy furniture that would go with your contemporary décor at affordable prices, the recently opened furniture outlet Attitude is certainly a place worth stopping by.

With a significant part of its furniture imported, but assembled locally, this outlet offers a wide variety ranging from leather sofas and stylish coffee tables to ready to fit wardrobes. In short, furniture for every room, including matching accessories and storage space is available.

Gaurav Goenka, CEO and Customer Companion, Attitude, contends: "Once you have fixed your house, you just have to walk in and pick your pieces."

Trendy and flexible

The furniture is not entirely wood, but also comes in various combinations, fusing leather and wood and metal and glass. The wardrobes come in various sizes and feature flexible storage options. They are extremely trendy and fit very well into a contemporary décor.

"You can dispense with your carpenter as you could pick these off the shelf," adds Goenka. According to him, this has an added advantage as "many times, what you finally get is in variance to what you actually ordered from your decorator." And this is avoided here, as "they are available off the shelf."

Some of the furniture comes with special features. For instance, the dining tables are made scratch proof, waterproof and heat proof. While the tables come in solid wood or with a fusion of metal, glass and wood, there is flexibility in terms of selecting the chairs. Says Goenka: "You can select your chairs according to your requirement and go in for a combination of your choice."

They make their dining chairs with micro fibre, which is stain proof, since spilling is a common problem. "It does not absorb liquids like other fabrics. In case of spillage, you simply have to wipe it clean."

The wardrobes too come with adjustable shelves and pack in the facility for accommodating more if required. The glass used for the coffee tables is tempered glass.

This makes it shock resistant. "Unless you bang it hard, the glass will not shatter," chips in Goenka. The sofas use pure polyester filling as compared to crushed foam, "which is the normal practice", and this is done to facilitate "greater comfort. It does not generate heat and does not get compressed over a period of time. This filling also gives a spring feature to the seats," he says. To accommodate the growing years, a variety of furniture features the children's section. The cots are designed to provide extra storage space. The extra beds feature more as a roll out than separate bedding as "this provides more open area for the children." There are plenty of accessories from countries such as Malaysia, China and Denmark to complement the furniture. Since most of its pieces have to be dismantled and assembled while shifting, to remove the hassle while shifting, the outlet offers its services free for such.

The prices are surprisingly affordable ranging from Rs. 4,000 to Rs. 70,000.

Says Goenka: "We are targeting the young working crowd who are looking for trendy, easy to maintain furniture." He adds: "Our products are attractive as besides being trendy, reflect the latest global designs at affordable prices." This according to him "not only attracts the young upwardly mobile customer, but also those who choose to incorporate the global trends into their décor."

Attitude is located in Koramangala and can be contacted on 41501976/86.
