A luxuriant spread

Head to Terrace Green, South Park, for some yummy grills and steaks



TO DROOL OVER A kebab and rice platter

Sumptuous salads, chilled soups, tender steaks, mouth watering deserts... If you want these and more, head to Terrace Green, South Park for their `Grills N Chills' festival. A mix of Indian and Continental you can pick from kebabs, steaks and grills.

To beat the summer heat, why not start the meal with Chilled Cream of Orange, a creamy, tangy soup. If you like your soups hot, try the Cream Solphirino, a rich vegetable soup or Avelgomono, a Greek soup, it has eggs, lemon and chicken. Pick your greens from the usual Mix Green Salad, or try from among the various other legumes. Salad Surprise, has citrus fruits, green, yellow and red pepper with onions and seasoning and Salad Mimosa has green lettuce with chopped eggs and powdered beans.

Those who enjoy seafood should try the Seafood Texas, a mixed grill of various seafood, the Shrimps A La Mandrid; succulent prawns cooked in the chef's special sauce and of course the chef's speciality, King Fish Fantasia. The Chicken Grille Hydepark, is tender pieces of chicken, seasoned and grilled and the Tenderloin Kalahari is cooked over charcoal a la Afghani style.

Vegetarians need not fret, there is a list of vegetarian dishes to choose from. The should trys are Vegetable Tatizi Mitzi which has juicy pineapple and chunky pieces of paneer cooked kebab style and Vegetable Monte Carlo which is a combination of cherry tomatoes with red, yellow and green peppers and mushroom grilled and served with a yummy tomato flavoured sauce.

You can also take your pick from live on the grill or tandoor items like Irani Machi, Wincosin Minute Steak, Poulet Margretta and Vienna Marsala Steak. Thes grills, kebabs and steaks come with a choice of rice or bread as accompaniment .

Treat yourself to the rich, sinful choice of dessert such as Kaja Dilwala, Blow Up, Acapulco Mango Gateaux and Tiramisu Alroma.

The `Grill and Chill' is on in the evenings starting April 15 to 24. There will be a live band playing and the food is priced at Rs. 399. So, what are you waiting for head for the Terrace.
