SUMPTUOUS SPREAD At the seafood fest

A seafood festival at Southern Aromas, The Residency Towers, which is on till April 23, features seafood from all the South Indian States. Besides, there's fare from Punjab, Bengal and Goa too.

There are irresistible delicacies such as nandu (crab meat) soup, jhinga dhania shorba (tomato and coriander shrimp soup) and seafood coconut soup (prawn, fish and squid soup in coconut cream). There are various seafood salads such as warm calamari salad,skewered prawn salad, tuna fish and potato salad and seafood chaat, a local speciality.

For starters, there are eralpodi varuval, nethili vepudu, tandoori pomfret and pathrani jhinga.

For the main course, you can choose from grilled, curried or tandoori lobster. There's also eral thokku, prawn balchow, Bengali jhinga masala, Punjabi machili Amritsari and more. What's more, the biriyanis too have seafood.

Round off the meal with strawberry flambé with vanilla icecream or stuffed lychees with kesar channa.
