Hunt is on
Of late talent hunt shows have become a rage among youngsters. One of the latest is "Hum Se Hai Zamana" which was organised by R.K. Films and Media Academy at Hamsadhwani theatre, Pragati Maidan, in New Delhi this past week. Meant for youngsters, it is aimed as a platform for those with the potential to scale new heights in national the and international entertainment arena. The competition was in four basic categories - singing, dancing, acting and modelling. The finalists of the show were Sonu Morwal and Shruti Dhasmana-Madhuri as best singers while Chandana Shekhar and Inder won the best actors title. The best dancers were Ashish Wasim and Ritika Dalal and in the modelling while Virender Singh and Akshita claimed the best model titles.
Anurag Sharma from Shahdara who won the dude singing title and had the audience swaying to his tunes, "Mujhse Shaadi Karogi", said, "I have been selected after auditions. Everything done from the heart always fetches good rewards." Big words from a kid! When asked how he found this stage different from others, he said, "This platform is quite different from Indian Idol and Fame Gurukul because here we perform live, while a TV show is subject to editing and cuts."
Among the panel of judges were Mukesh Khanna of Shaktiman fame, actress Sudha Chandran and others.
