Cool decor

When the sun burns bright, it is time for tall drinks, clinking ice cubes, umbrellas and cool colours. So Yamini has come out with `Fruit Crush', a new collection of furnishings and bath linen for the season. The range comes in solid cotton fabrics in pink, yellow, lime and aqua, with coordinated stripes and prints (Rs. 285 per metre). Bedspreads in cotton and poly silks are priced between Rs. 785 and Rs. 6,500 and cushion covers in cool combinations and crinkled fabrics, with pleating, interlacing and crochet trims, are priced between Rs. 275 and Rs. 485. Curtains include the multi-toned voile (Rs. 435 per ready to hang panel), printed (Rs. 515) and three-panelled organdie (Rs. 535).

The collection also brings freshness to the table with a set of candy-striped tablemats and napkins (Rs. 450, a set of 6), tablecloths and kundan coasters. Liven up your bath area with white honeycomb weave towels, highlighted with a panel of stripes, hand towels and face towels. The collection is available at Design Store, Alwarpet.
