For organic food

Kilpauk-based Ahumcaara, the store for `organic health and speciality food', now extends its facilities through Asharaa at 18 and 20, Bheemanna Garden Road, Abhiramapuram.

The range of products from Ahumcaara that are available at Asharaa include high-energy low-fat power snacks, speciality cheese, natural salts and sweetners, juices and jams, fruit crushes, herbs and spices, soy products, herbal teas, grains, pulses, oils and nuts.

According to Sunita Shahaney, "There are about 170 organic products and health food to choose from. The rare ones include tulsi tea, nutritious millets, oil-free pickles and brown basmati rice. We even have an all-new bio mosquito repellent that's proved to be effective. Organically grown vegetables will be made available from June. What we are trying to do is to promote a new lifestyle. "

For details call Asharaa - phone: 24660051 or Ahumcaara - phone: 26611828.
