Style spot

A women wear store called Celestial Colours has just upped its shutters in New Delhi. Owned by Delhiites, Param Singh and Sumit Grover, Celestial Colours, situated in South Extention Part II, hosts prêt fashion along with jewellery and accessories.

Housing both formal and semi-formal wear, it has used an array of fabrics like chiffons, georgettes, satins and silks. Sonal Madan and Shabnam from Alaya have crafted the accessories.

Says Param, "We specialise in contemporary clothing that could be worn on most occasions. It should enhance the individual style of the wearer." The designers have worked especially on summer wear "that is light in both colour and weight and easy to maintain." Ready to be a part of the competition, she says, "The product should speak for itself. If it is appreciated, it will last in the market or else it will vanish soon."

Param and Sumit has plans to open more stores in Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai and Hyderabad.
