Another sequel

The Michael Douglas- Sharon Stone "Basic Instinct" was supposed to be a Hollywood smut classic when it was released in 1992. It has steamy scenes and was a huge hit in India and at least a dozen films in various languages were inspired by this violent sex drama. Now 14 years after its release, a sequel, "Basic Instinct-2", with the same Sharon Stone in a similar seductive game has come. It has British actor David Mourissey as the hero. Critics have torn the film to shreds and called it a `terrible film' that was a disaster at the U.S. boxoffice. But in India, one has to wait to see how "Basic Instinct-2", releasing this week along with its Tamil version, will fare.
