Romance and action

After that super hit "Athadu", Mahesh Babu is back with "Pokiri", another romance-cumaction thriller told against the backdrop of a mafia gang and directed by Puri Jagannadh. The story is about a street-smart, smalltime goonda who is forced to take on a powerful mafia due to certain circumstances. The cast has veterans Prakash Raj, Asish Vidyarthi, Sayaji Shinde and Nasser with Ileana in the female lead. A major part of "Pokiri" was shot in and around Chennai. It has music by Mani Sharma. Mahesh has gone in for a new look with unkempt hair and rugged clothes. The film releases this Saturday.
