ALL SMILES Delegates who attended the meet at the group photo session
The press relation officer of Andhra University, Challa Ramakrishna, visited France on invitation to attend an international symposium on `Fundamental human rights put to the test of globalisation'. The two-day symposium from March 16 was jointly hosted by ICES and Vendee Consul General at La Roche Sur Yon.
The symposium was attended by many international experts and was held at Logis de la Chabotterie an ancient elegant mansion where the Vendean general Charette was captured and interrogated during the French revolution.
Dr. Ramakrishna also delivered a lecture on `Fundamental human rights in the recent economic evolution in India and social effects thereof'.
On the last day a banquet dinner was organised by Phillippe de Villiers president of the general council of Vendee.
