Effective teaching

Primary school teachers using a digital camera to capture the photographs of a caterpillar, a pupa and a butterfly and using their laptops to download the pictures into a power point presentation to explain the lifecycle of a butterfly to their students is an all-appealing way of education. Indus World School, a chain of schools run by Career Launcher Education Foundation (CLEF) has initiated this process. At a function held recently in the city, an extensive teachers training programme and a laptop giving ceremony was conducted for the teachers at the Indus World SchoolTeachers or `Mentors' as they are known at Indus World have been selected through a very rigorous selection process. The facilitators from CIEFL, Hyderabad will be training teachers on languages. The objective is to help them to make learning of languages as an interesting process for children.
