A laugh riot


MTV's new show "Rendezvous with Semi Girebaal" (Sunday, 9.30 p.m.) is a laugh riot. Master of disguise Cyrus Sahukar dons the avatar of Semi Girebaal, interviewing celebrities in a saccharine manner giving you up-close and trivial information about the life of stars, their loves and controversies. The celebrities are look-alikes whom Semi brings to tears in every episode. Cyrus, who refuses to accept his show is a take-off on the original, says: "I think it is more a comedy sketch than a spoof."
