On ANIMO puppetry from May 13
|
ANIMO puppet animation combines puppetry with computer technology. This combination is being used for the first time by Media Point and Pavai Centre for Puppetry in a series of workshops. The participants will be taught to create puppets, develop stories and manipulate them. Hand and mind coordination, colour concept and imagination will help the participants create characters in multimedia and demonstrate their stories with puppets. The technical aspect in ANIMO puppetry will involve training the participants to transfer the characters and stories they have created into animation as a short film. There will be sessions on colour, layer effect techniques, basic Flash animation and a final presentation on the project. The workshops will be conducted in batches starting from May 13 at Media Point, Dev Regency, III Floor, New No.111 (old No.61), Dr. Radhakrishnan Salai, Mylapore.
