Horrorville

Ramgopal Varma is one of the most innovative and daring directors in the country. The latest from his factory is "Darna Zaroori Hai", a sequel to his highly successful "Darna Mana Hai", which is also a compilation of six horror stories like the original. Each episode leads to a common climax and is directed by different directors with a multi-star cast — Amitabh Bachchan, Anil Kapoor, Randeep Hooda, Ritesh Deshmukh, Arjun Rampal, Bipasha Basu, Mallika Sherawat and Sunil Shetty. It was Ramgopal Varma who started the trend of incorporating promotional music video in his song-less films. In "Darna Zaroori Hai", he has two of his protégés Nisha Kothari and Mohit Ahlawat featuring in a music video for television. The music is by Taubish Ramani and Nitin Raikwar. "Darna Zaroori Hai" has enough terrifying twists to keep the viewers on the edge of the seat.
