Shakira is all set to take music lovers by storm

The sultry Latino diva who stormed into the international music scene with her sensuous Whenever, Wherever has been in and out of the pop-dance genre of English and Latino music. After her debut track, which introduced her as a raunchy, in your face and bold artiste, she has been belting out one hit after another in Spanish. But her English music discography is quite sketchy.
Shakira's first album Laundry Service, which featured tracks such as Whenever, Wherever, Underneath Your Clothes and Objection, was a massive worldwide chart-topper, which made Britney and JLo rethink the way they position themselves in the international music arena.
But Shakira too was at the receiving end of a lot of negative criticism, as music gurus wrote her away as a one-hit wonder. .
For some time, the critics were right, as Shakira released just one Spanish album in three years and it was only late last year that she bounced back with Oral Fixation. Volume One of this album was entirely in Spanish while Volume Two was all-English with tracks such as Don't Bother. Her faithful fans had become accustomed to her sultry, naughty and on-the-edge music and lyrics, but Don't Bother was too slow and simple a song to be expected from Shakira's music stables. Well, that's what you thought. Lend an ear to Sony BMG's CD slated for release in the coming weeks! Especially Hips Don't Lie, where Shakira collaborates with Wyclef Jean, one of the leading names in the R&B Reggaethon scene.
One hearing and you realise why it's the best one Shakira has ever created. Infectious, and hummable, it makes you realise how Shakira's sultry voice blends so well with R&B accomplishments. The video for Hips Don't Lie and the track will be part of a soon-to-be released compilation featuring Shakira's all-time greatest English hits. But no previously released track will ever match up to the quality and energy of the new single. It's one of those that you listen to 20 times in a row and still don't get enough.
