Our responsibilities towards senior citizens

Setting an example

I am a senior citizen and can cite examples of how one can behave responsibly towards elders. Recently, at the Trustpuram signal, a policeman did not allow me to cross the road along with the others. He held me by my arm, stopped the traffic and allowed me to cross the road. Also, when I was returning from Bangalore by the Chennai Mail, the TTE came to my berth at 4.30 a.m. and woke me up saying that we had reached Chennai.
